Wild About the Namekagon Paddle

$65Join Wild Rivers Conservancy and Cable Natural History Museum to explore a beginner-friendly 5-mile stretch of the wild and scenic Namekagon River. Naturalists Katrina Schlicker and Emily Stone will share fascinating stories of history and nature. This is a fully supported trip with a kayak, paddle, and PFD, as well as a shuttle service. Participants age 13+ will meet at Big Bend Landing, our take-out point, and shuttle back to Springbrook Landing to begin. Space is limited. Register by July 12.

Stretch Length: 5 miles
Stretch Difficulty: Beginner friendly. Lovely, mostly calm stretch with some small riffles Ages 13+.
Recommended items to bring/wear:
- Adequate water
- Lunch/snack while on river
- Polarized sunglasses
- Binoculars
- Clothing that correlates to weather conditions
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Shoes that can get wet (no flip flops)
