Vets on the River 2023

Join Wild Rivers Conservancy staff and St. Croix National Scenic Riverway park rangers on a free paddle connecting veterans to the healing power of the Riverway. Our floating National Park provides a place of reflection, rest and recuperation to all. We invite veterans and active duty service members to join us in an outdoor activity that benefits your physical and mental health, and connects you to others in your local military community.
This is a fully supported paddle. You will be provided with premium kayaks, paddles, and PFDs, as well as a shuttle service from your cars to the initial canoe/kayak landing.

Bathrooms: At start and end with campsite pit toilets along the route

Recommended items to bring/wear:
- Adequate water
- Lunch/snack while on river
- Polarized sunglasses
- Binoculars
- Clothing that dries quickly and correlates to weather conditions
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Shoes that can get wet or sandals with straps
