National Trails Day – Buckthorn Removal

Let’s Clean Up the River!

Join us this National Trails Day to help remove invasive buckthorn along the Indianhead Flowage Trail in St. Croix Falls, WI.

Join us for the whole event, or drop in when you can. All necessary tools provided.

This level trail crosses bridged streams as it winds its ways through woods and wetlands to the river. This trail is adjacent to Lion’s Club Park, a large picnic area, and a boat launch.

Bathrooms: Available at Lion’s Park

Recommended items to bring/wear:
-Sturdy, closed toe shoes
-Comfortable clothing and layers (appropriate for the weather)
-Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
-Insect protection
-Water bottle
