Land Stewardship for Bird Conservation Walk & Talk – Belwin Conservancy

FreeJoin Wild Rivers Conservancy, Audubon Upper Mississippi River, and Belwin Conservancy for a walking tour highlighting local bird species and bird-friendly land stewardship practices. This tour will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of land stewardship practices in a variety of habitats and their significance in preserving native bird species.
During this tour, we will be visiting Belwin Conservancy’s Savanna Center to learn about native bird species and hear more about land restoration initiatives undertaken on the property. Hear from Dale Gentry with Audubon Upper Mississippi River about how to keep your land healthy and bird-friendly, and from Belwin Conservancy on how they’ve managed their land with conservation in mind.
Please come dressed for the weather and prepared to be walking outside – water, boots, bug spray/sunscreen and layers.
This tour is free. Light food and refreshments provided from 5:00-5:30pm.
