Birding By Sound Paddle
June 4, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
$50Are you wild about birds?
Join the Wild Rivers Conservancy Natural Resources Manager Katie and local birder fanatic, Brian Collins for a day on the St. Croix River listening and looking for spring migrants making their way north. We’ll search the skies, riparian zone, and waters for Great blue heron, green heron, belted kingfisher, bald eagle, swallows, osprey, and more. This fully supported paddle will provide an educational aspect to bird identification by sound.
You will be provided with premium kayaks, paddles, and PFDs, as well as a shuttle service from your cars to the initial canoe/kayak landing.
