Fish of the Namekagon Paddle

July 8, 2022

$50

Have you ever seen a fish quickly dart beneath you as you paddled and wish you knew it’s species? On this paddle, the Conservancy will provide the tools and instruction to help you be more confident in your identifications. Be sure to bring polarized sunglasses to help you to peer beyond the water’s surface and reveal the life beneath!

Joining us will be expert Max Wolter, Fisheries Biologist with the Bureau of Fisheries Management for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in Hayward, WI.

This is a fully supported paddle – You will be provided with a kayak, paddle, and PFD, as well as a shuttle service from your cars to the initial canoe/kayak landing. We will be paddling from County K Landing to Whispering Pines Landing.

We recommend you bring:

  • Adequate water
  • Lunch/snack
  • Polarized sunglasses
  • Binoculars
  • Clothing that correlates to weather conditions
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat

Cancelation Information:

In the event of inclement weather such as heavy rains and thunderstorms, this activity may be canceled. There are no refunds for participant-initiated cancelations.
