Join Riverway Volunteers to mend some nets after a summer of scooping up macroinvertebrates!

The muck nets used by students in our environmental education classes are well-loved and could use some mending. Join us at our office from 10:00am-12:00pm on Thursday, November 12th to help sew the nets and get them ready for next spring.

Enjoy warm beverages and lively conversation as we use yarn needles to hand sew our muck nets for repair and reinforcement. All supplies provided, and no sewing experience required. Our Environmental Education Coordinator, Katrina, will show us all we need to know. Feel free to reach out to Katrina at kschlicker@wildriversconservancy.org with questions.
