Jessica Peterson (Jesi) is a Saint Croix native. Growing up in Saint Croix Falls, she developed a love for the watershed at a very young age. Wanting to remain local, she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in environmental conservation from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. After working for the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway for two seasons, she joined the Conservancy team in 2026 as the Conservation Outreach Coordinator.  Jesi’s main focuses at the Conservancy are coordinating the Forest Health Project and leading outreach efforts to support habitat stewardship and restoration. During her downtime, Jesi enjoys spending time on public land with her husband and their three dogs.
