Avis is from Almont, Michigan. She is currently attending Michigan Tech, where she’s studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with minors in Fish Biology and Public History. She is a member of the Rowing Club at MTU, and enjoys skiing, traveling, watching sunsets, and trying new things. Avis is really excited to work with the National Park Service, interact with the public, and learn more about the St. Croix Riverway this summer!
