Alexis joined the Conservancy in early 2023 after working in natural resources communications & outreach for the National Park Service in Fort Collins, CO. She grew up on the shores of coastal Massachusetts, but is happy to have found a home for herself along an equally beautiful waterbody, the St. Croix River. She graduated in 2022 from UMass-Amherst with a dual bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resources Conservation. She has been working in the field of climate adaptation and land stewardship for years and is pleased to continue doing so at the Conservancy. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys identifying plants, hiking, volunteering, and attending any trivia and bingo events she can find.
