Intro to Watercraft Inspection Training
Clean Boats, Clean Waters Volunteer Watercraft Inspection Training
Join our Invasive Species team on Tuesday, June 2nd from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Wild Rivers Conservancy office (1015 N Cascade St in Osceola, WI 54020) to learn how to become a Watercraft Inspector volunteer and protect the St. Croix River. Volunteers in this role work alongside staff to conduct visual inspections and educate the public on preventing the spread of invasive species.
The training will be recorded for any interested volunteers who are not able to attend the in-person session on June 2nd.
Shift lengths are flexible, but are typically 2-6 hours in length between the hours of 8:00am-2:00pm, and are available at two locations:
- Monday-Thursday at Lakefront Park in Hudson, WI
- Friday-Sunday at Lions Park in St. Croix Falls, WI
Volunteer one time, or throughout the summer! This opportunity is great for pairs. Please reach out to Maria at myoung@wildriversconservancy.org with any questions.
