Paddle With a Purpose: Veterans Riverway Retreat
Join us for a scenic paddle along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway!
Join National Park Service rangers and US Military veterans for a free paddle event that connects veterans with the healing power of the Riverway. This outdoor activity offers reflection, rest, and a chance to connect with fellow veterans while benefiting your physical and mental health.
This is a fully supported event. You will be provided with premium kayaks, paddles, and PFDs, as well as a shuttle service back to your vehicles after the paddle.

What to Bring
- Adequate water
- Lunch/snack
- Sandals/shoes that can step in the water
- Polarized sunglasses
- Binoculars
- Clothing that correlates to weather conditions (layers are best)
- Sunscreen
- Hat

For the safety of participants and staff, this program may be canceled due to inclement weather or hazardous conditions. Participants will be notified via email and event pages will be updated if the program is cancelled.
