Fish & Foliage of the Namekagon Paddle
Join us for a scenic paddle along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway!
Join us for a paddle down the Namekagon River to spot some fish while surrounded by the beautiful fall foliage. Have you ever seen a fish quickly dart beneath you as you paddled and wish you knew its species? On this paddle, we will provide the tools and instruction to help you be more confident in your identifications.
This is a fully supported paddle. You will be provided with premium kayaks, paddles, and PFDs, as well as a shuttle service back to your vehicles after the paddle.

Whispering Pines Landing (Trego, WI 54888)
There are bathrooms located at the start and end point of the paddle, and at campsites along the way.
River Stretch
Paddle Stretch: County Road K Landing to Whispering Pines Landing
Paddle Difficulty: Good for beginners, with some riffles
Paddle Length: About 10 miles
What to Bring
● Adequate water
● Lunch/snack
● Polarized sunglasses
● Binoculars
● Clothing that correlates to weather conditions (layers are best)
● Sunscreen
● Hat
● Water shoes or sandals with straps that can get wet

For the safety of participants and staff, this program may be canceled due to inclement weather or hazardous conditions. Participants will be notified via email and event pages will be updated if the program is cancelled.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds for participant-initiated cancellations.
