Spring Volunteer Cleanup

Let’s Clean Up the River!
Bring your family and friends, and get ready to make a difference! We’re hosting a fun cleanup day across the St. Croix and Namekagon rivers to keep them beautiful and ready for everyone to enjoy this summer. All ages welcome.

Where to meet: Volunteers will start at and return to one of the National Park Visitor Centers:

What to Expect: Drop by the visitor center anytime between 10:00am-2:00pm to sign-in, get your gear, and choose your landing (first come, first served). When finished, volunteers return to the visitor center where they started (must return by 4:00pm) to check-in and return supplies & litter. Available supplies include:
- Trash bags
- Grabber tools
- Canvas or dipped work gloves
- Maps and written directions to landings
What to Bring:
- Water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
- Insect repellent, cell phone
- Anything else you might need to be comfortable for a day outdoors
We recommend wearing comfortable layers that you can take off as needed, and sturdy closed-toe shoes. With limited cell service in many areas, we also recommend downloading maps to your mobile phone in advance.
