Nature Journaling Workshop
October 28 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm$20
Nature journaling…the intersection of observation and creative inspiration
Join Jeremiah Walters, Conservancy Naturalist, for a guided workshop where you will learn and experience the practice of Nature Journaling.
This workshop, suitable for all, introduces you to journaling techniques as you observe, wonder, and connect with nature. You will explore recording your reflections using images, words, numbers, and diagrams. Journal entries can serve as recollections, creative inspiration, or scientific observations. The choice is yours!
Your session begins at Boulderwall at The Acreage. Jeremiah will share prompts and practices for creating your own journal. The wooded forests are the perfect backdrop for finding quiet corners to practice your new techniques. Be prepared for outdoor strolls and sitting amongst the trees. Dress for the weather. Layers, hiking shoes/boots, water bottle, and a blanket for sitting on are recommended.
We will provide your notebook and pencil. Nature will provide the rest.
