Join Wild Rivers Conservancy and the Friends of WR and KSP on an informative invasive species plant hike!

Saturday, June 11 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Meet at the Willow River Nature Center.

We’ll start with a brief presentation aimed to help you identify common invaders, while learning how they impact our natural resources. Then, we’ll put your knowledge to the test as we head out on a guided hike!

Each attendee will receive a free WI Terrestrial Invasive Plant ID Guide and resources to go along with it. On the hike, we’ll practice identifying and reporting common invaders and learn about prevention and management strategies. We hope you can join us for a fun and educational day out on the trails!

This event is free to attend but vehicle admission into the park is required. All outdoor events are weather dependent.

For more information please call 715-386-9340 or email naturecenter@willowkinnifriends.org.
